FERODO ® Premier brake pads achieved average stopping distances up to a remarkable 23 metres earlier than a leading competitor.
In tests FERODO Premier stops you first!
For once we’re glad our competitors have left us behind. In recent AMS brake fade tests involving repeated stops from the equivalent of 100km/h, proof positive that when it comes to safety, you can trust the First Name in Brakes ahead of everything else.

The AMS fade test is an industry standard specified by OEM’s and acknowledged by all leading friction manufacturers. The test described was performed under controlled conditions at Federal-Mogul’s UK testing facility and complies with ISO/QS standards.
The test replicates ten successive stops from 100-to-0 km/h, resulting in an average co-efficient of friction, which was then extrapolated into a comparative stopping distance.
Stopping distances should not be interpreted to those that would be achieved under normal driving conditions where driver ability and variation in road conditions could result in significantly extended distances.
FACTS
During AMS fade simulation tests*, FERODO Premier was the only pad to maintain a consistently high level of braking performance
In the safety critical 100-0km/h test, Premier pads stopped the vehicle up to 23 metres earlier than 2 leading competitors
Ferodo Premier comes first in tests using a combination of over 50 friction materials to match OE specification - all FERODO pads are Regulation 90 compliant
*Figures obtained from AMS fade simulation test (T003567) based on averaged data collected over 10 individual stops performed on a dynamometer rigged to replicate a Ford Focus fitted with OE discs and FERODO Premier pads and pads from 2 leading European competitors.
