Regulation 90

Very Important Information About Regulation 90

Cars first registered from April 1st 2001 require brake products that meet Regulation 90 approval. Regulation 90 comprises of tests which measure if brake products meet a minimum performance standard (within +/-15% of the OEM part).

A comparison of the testing required OEM products, such as Ferodo Premier TM, and those which simply meet R90 standards is shown below.

So it's important to know that not only are Ferodo ® SL and Premier ranges Regulation 90 compliant, but that Ferodo Premier greatly exceeds Regulation 90 specification and is designed to original equipment standards.

And when you realise that only Ferodo Premier uses over 50 different friction materials to match every pad to every application, you'll see that the choice of brake pads is very easy.
