Quiet Assurance Warranty Conditions

Federal-Mogul Corporation offers by individual agreement to its Customers a special “22” warranty on Ferodo ThermoQuiet® brake pads. Should the Customer be dissatisfied with the overall performance of the product, they are entitled to return the brake pad to the Retailer within 2 months from the date of purchase. The Customer will be offered free of charge a set of Ferodo brake pads for the equivalent application. After the first 2 months, the product is still warranted against wear above and beyond normal expectation for 2 years from the date of purchase or 25,000 miles/40,000 km - whichever comes first. Should the product wear out within these parameters, the Customer will be offered free of charge a new set of Ferodo brake pads for the equivalent application.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY

To make a claim under this warranty, the Customer must return the product with proof of purchase including date of the repair and the parts fitted. Upon presentation, the Customer will be offered free of charge a set of Ferodo brake pads for the equivalent application. In the case of the 2-month warranty these will be Ferodo Premier brake pads. The timing of the replacement is subject to availability of the product. The warranty does not apply to parts misused or improperly installed and specifically excludes products fitted to commercial, light commercial and racing vehicles. The final decision of proper installation rests with Federal-Mogul Corporation. The warranty only applies on vehicles used for private, non-commercial use. The warranty only applies for brake pads installed at the same time as new rotors/discs and new fitting accessories as under foreseeable conditions to be expected. Federal-Mogul Corporation’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective product in accordance with this warranty. Cost of removal and installation of products is not included and any incidental and consequential damages are excluded under this warranty. Federal-Mogul Corporation retains the right of withdrawing this warranty at any time. Any condition of this warranty is subject to local legislation of the Country where the claim occurs.
